Peak rates apply on Dutch school holidays and public holidays — see the calendar. Travel outside Leiden city limits: + €[XX] per visit.
Paying is easy with Tikkie
After your booking is confirmed we send a Tikkie payment request by WhatsApp or email. Pay it from your Dutch bank app in two taps. A [XX]% deposit secures peak dates; the balance is due on the day of your first visit.

Before your first booking
Fill out the Pet Care Form online — we receive a copy by email and keep it on file. Or download it, fill it in by hand and have it ready at the meet & greet.
The small print, in plain language
Booking & deposits
- A booking is confirmed once we've replied in writing and, for peak dates, the deposit is paid.
- New clients: a meet & greet before the first booking is required.
Cancellations
- Standard dates: free cancellation up to [48] hours before the first visit.
- Peak dates: the deposit is non-refundable within [14] days of the start.
Keys & access
- Keys are collected at the meet & greet, labelled with a code only (never your address) and returned on your last visit or kept on file for regulars.
Medical care
- We follow your vet's written instructions exactly. Please leave medication, supplies and the dosing schedule out and labelled.
- You authorise us to seek veterinary care in an emergency; vet costs are yours.
Emergencies & vet
- Your pet care form lists your vet and an emergency contact. We'll call you first, your vet second.
- Both sitters are American Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid / CPR trained.
Your home
- We leave your home as we found it. Overnight stays: no guests, no smoking, no parties — ever.
- Please tell us about anyone else who has a key or may stop by while you're away.
